When you get a chance, please download this ZIP file and install it manually:
- Open calibre
- Open Preferences
- Plugins
- Load plugin from file
- Choose this downloaded ZIP file
Then restart calibre in debug mode (click the arrow beside the Preferences button and choose "Restart in debug mode"), do exactly what you did before (try to open the plugin settings and try to send a book to your device) and close calibre once it fails. The debug log will show up shortly afterwards, paste that here inside SPOILER tags and I'll take a look.
As a reminder, I'm expecting this update to fix nothing. It's supposed to only give me extra debug logs around the code path for fetching and migrating preferences.
