I get the novelty aspect, but eventually it just becomes a day-to-day activity. I never went back to paper books because I can't read them anyway (vision damage), but don't beat yourself up if you also read paper books. There is no need to be a 'purist' if you don't want to. I still miss my Pern series in hardcover, but I couldn't read them any more, so out they went. On the plus side, when I move into an apartment in the next 6 years or so, there will be a lot less for me to agonize getting rid of to fit the new space.
