The books on my Kindle are real. I didn't buy my first Kindle because of the novelty. I bought it because I need the options it gives me...the ability to increase the font size was the bigggest issue. Once I read for a day or so, I never looked back.
I don't see digital books as unreal or pretend. The story is the same, and the various options make it a much nicer experience.
