Just wanted to say thanks to David. The image worked. (I had to truncate it, but it still worked like a charm). My Mini once more upgraded to the newest firmware, but this time, the installation didn't hiccup and it didn't brick. The latest firmware also seems to work better and faster than the firmware I had on the device previous to the what happened. I'm going to use it as is for a while and see how I like it.
