I have nothing but good things to say about cowboy romance novels. That is what helped me relearn to read after a brain injury. The plots are easy, the language is not complex, and the book is short and they were very inexpensive. While I don't read them today, I will always have fond memories of these books.

Currently reading Stalking the Vampire by Mike Resnick. I bought this during the Kobocalypse (is that 4 or 5 years ago now?). Great book! Funny. Overdoes it a bit with some stuff, but still enjoyable. This series is loosely written in the style of Philip Marlow.
