Others have given all the differences between the PW3 and PW4 and you knew the prices from the start. I would probably go with the PW4 for the warranty. For me, the extra memory isn't important. I rather like the flush screen but it's not a deal-breaker for me. Neither Paperwhite is heavy enough to make that a factor. The audio capability is irrelevant for me, too, because I read.
I have no interest in playing with the hardware so jailbreak doesn't concern me. I just want to read books.
