I also tried, to no avail.
I have the Note app set up to automatically generate a PDF version, which is stored in the “note” folder in Storage. I use the AutoSync for OneDrive app, which I have set to automatically sync the “note” folder to my OneDrive, so the PDFs stay up to date with any changes I make.
Not perfect, but a decent workaround.
