No, I don't know the difference.
Plus I only know how to create a TOC via Tools>Table of contents>Generate Table of contents
and
Tools>Table of contents>Create HTML Table of Contents
Is the 'Create HTML Table of Contents' option under Tools the HTML-toc you mean? If so, I can do that but not place it where I want it.
Do 'Inline TOC' mean you can place it inline of where you want it?
Does one use more bytes than the other? I am not far going over 3MB on the Mobi version (so far no cover, but has 29 images and a logo and I have still to add an image I forgot). So, if one TOC keeps me under 3MB and the other takes me over then I will have to use that as a decider.
Also, I hear conflicting info re Amazon Kindle and whether the book cover is included in the delivery cost to author. One belief is that as when creating the Kindle, we are instructed
not to put a cover in, that the cover is a separate upload to the mobi file.
Does this mean the cover is not part of the delivery charge?
