I have sent you a PM with the link, but I really don't think it will help. A factory reset might help as it will reset everything on the root partition and maybe that will force a recalibration of the battery.

The usual recommendation for charging level issues with Li-Ion batteries is to recalibrate them. That is done by fully charging and discharging a couple of times. The discharging for an ereader is the problem as they are designed not to use battery. It usually takes ages.
