I haven't read it, but have been hoping for it to go on sale. I think it has been widely acclaimed.

Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind] by Yuval Noah Harari is also on sale today for $3.99

I also haven't read this and it seems to be quite controversial with large numbers of 5 star and 1 star reviews. Many of the 1 star reviews have lots of votes as helpful. Most of the complaints have to do with opinion mixed with science but allow that multiple viewpoints are presented.
