First? Why stick with the outdated Distro version? Ther is a command line you copy from the OFFICIAL Calibre download Linux page.
OK there should be no problem REPLACING the entire Library folder contents or simply starting with a NEW folder.
If you want ALL your configurations (PI and other stuff), then Export/Import gets the job done (you may need to use Switch/Create afterwards to point at your desired Library.
