Strange that the client would care when searching for an AP.
You would think the client would simply search all possible channels and let the AP worry about which channels are allowed.
It's not like people don't use the Kobo for travelling.
I did notice that when rolled back to the older firmware, other WiFi hotspots in range show up, in addition to my own.
