Amazon has been known to remove the Return for Refund option for users who abuse the option. It's only there for 7 days after purchase also.

I've returned 3-4 books since 2009, all for formatting issues. But have seen posts from users who returned books because they didn't like them. I think that is outside the spirit of the limitation. It was usually those users who ended up on the old Kindle forum, complaining because they couldn't return books any more, because Amazon removed the option from their account.

That's like asking for a meal to be taken off the bill, after you've eaten most of it.
