Mr. Tubemonkey--What's the deal with Audible delaying announcements of their daily deals, and canceling at least one, lately (I ask that of you because the word on the street is that you are a powerful, influential person in the audio book industry. In fact, there's a rumor that the Big Guy at Audible/Amazon won't even blow his nose without consulting with you first).

Seriously now, and on a different topic for the most part, the thought occurred to me that if Amazon wanted an east coast office, it looks like the building(s) that Audible vacated in Noo Joisey would have been a good place to use. Which makes me wonder if Amazon had come up with the notion of an east coast presence rather suddenly. Furthermore, it's interesting that we (at least I) haven't heard anymore about an east coast office since Noo Yawk told Amazon that they (Noo Yawk) didn't want Amazon and all of the jobs that they would bring to Noo Yawk.
