Wireless devices can get a different Band on WiFi routers. If you can (all devices must be compatible), set the router to only do a single band.

Some routers block PEER connections as a security measure. (I don't think this is your case since it did work with that router)

Does the Calibre PC have a static or reserved IP. (reserved is configured in the routers DHCP section). this keeps the address from changing.
