The Clara HD is basically the replacement for the Glo HD. The Glo HD has the same resolution as the Clara so if you like the display on that, you'll also like it on the Glo HD. The main difference is that the Clara has the color changing light and a capacitive screen, while the Glo HD only has a white light and an Infrared screen. The Infrared screen is great because you can use it with non-capacitive gloves when the weather is cold, but selecting things on screen by tapping and dragging isn't as accurate on an IR screen as it is on a capacitive screen. Not much of a problem though if you're not highlighting things or looking up words in the dictionary.
I also believe that the Clara has the same amount of RAM as the Glo HD but a slightly faster processor. I believe that when Kobo was liquidating them to make room for the Clara, they were on sale for around $40 on eBay, so keep an eye out in case overstock appears again.
