1) Do you notice that using this this tablet (and E ink screens in general) reduces the strain on your eyes?
2) I'd be mainly interested in just browsing the internet (and perhaps use some android apps). Does the browser function properly?
3) I've heard that there are security issues with its version of Android? How true is this?

I greatly appreciate the replies!
I'm gonna ask the right questions first:

1. Do you wear Contacts/Glasses, if not have you had a eye checkup recently for this issue?
2. The e-ink display refreshes slow it can work for simple reading in a browser but not all websites look good on e-ink and the stock browser is pretty bad I would use one like chrome.
3. you can get E-ink displays for the computer that do refresh fast but they are expensive so I would not get one unless you find you need it.
4. E-ink screens are all kinda the same in quality minus the front light and ppi so if your in the US go to a Barnes and Nobles and look at a glowlight 3 on demo to see how it treats your eyes ( this is a 6 inch not 7.8 device though).

Start there.

The security is mostly minor. I would not keep sensitive apps on this device as it's not encrypted and if you know what your doing you can dump its eMMC off it if stolen.
