I'm currently using 2.1 FW on my Nova Pro and I don't see any such setting.

What you could do is deselect the Full Screen option from the Optimization settings. That way when you're reading using Moon+ Reader, just tap in the middle of the screen and you will be able to see the Onyx top bar. You could then press twice on the circle with arrows in it to switch from normal mode to A2 mode and back again. That will refresh your screen. A bit of a clumsy workaround, but it should do the trick.

When you eventually get the 2.1 FW onto your device, you can enable the floating Navigation Ball app. You can program the app for up to five functions, one of which could be a screen refresh. I'm really liking the navigation ball because now I no longer need third party apps to take a screenshot.
