DON'T buy a Kobo from Amazon. I just learned today when my Kobo (which I had also bought on Amazon as I couldn't find the model I wanted locally) bricked itself that Kobo does not honor their warranty for devices purchased from "unauthorized" dealers, and neither Amazon nor anyone who sells on Amazon is considered authorized.
