I really like Gail Bowen's Joanne Kilbourn series, but most of the individual titles in the series are an insane $11.99 each in the US, even for the very old backlist.
Now two omnibuses have dropped in price and provide a great way to get a bunch of titles in this series if you are interested.
The Joanne Kilbourn Mysteries, Volume 2, apa
The Further Investigations of Joanne Kilbourn, contains three titles, and is priced at $6.99 at Kindle and Kobo US, down from $14.99. Titles include:
A Colder Kind of Death,
A Killing Spring, and
Verdict in Blood.

The Joanne Kilbourn Mysteries, Volume 3, contains six titles and is priced at $8.99, down from (again insane) $51.99. Titles include:
The Last Good Day;
The Endless Knot;
The Brutal Heart;
The Nesting Dolls;
Kaleidoscope; and
The Gifted.

Sadly the first omnibus with the first three titles,
The Joanne Kilbourn Mysteries, Volume 1, apa
The Early Investigations of Joanne Kilbourn, is not on sale right now, so if you want to read in order, you'll have to pony up $12.99 to do so (but still not bad if you compare to $11.99 each individually). Links provided just in case you're a "read-in-order-er".
