Anyone have any thoughts on what appear to be spikes in the WiFi traffic?

brent63 - if you want another layer of real time protection you could try Malwarebytes (MWB) Pro - it is designed to run alongside other anti-malware products such as Defender. I run both, and they've both found, blocked things etc that the other one hasn't. The only thing i have ever had to exclude from either was a weather gadget from MWB - they fixed that within a couple of days of me posting the 'false alarm' message.
I have no special interest in MWB, other than that of a long time user, ditto MS.
