First: I didn't modify my Kobo Aura H2O in any way.
My E-Reader is probably bricked, because the only response I can get, is the LED on top lighting up for around 8 seconds when I "turn it on" (nothing else happens)
The screen has been stuck for more than a week, except when I plugged it into the actual power outlet, I was able to access the device and everything was fine until about a minute later it froze again and it has been (again) unresponsive since. The battery indicated 30% at that time and it charged up to 45%, where the screen is now stuck.
I've charged it for hours and hours since.
I've tried resetting it with a paperclip - no result (not even the LED on the power button)
I've tried the tapping-the-screen-corners-reset - no result, but I'm not sure if I'm tapping at the right pace...
I've thought about X-raying the device to see if the microsd card may have slipped somewhere.
I don't want to open it before making sure it's bricked, so is there anything else I could try? Is there a video of somebody performing the tap-reset?
