Well but the other tts apps on the devicenare working fine? Actually Google Go is the only tts app that's not reading aloud.
My Likebook-TD80D BYRead-V1.0.7 is running Android 6.0.1. My phone is on Android 9 and my Yotaphone is also Android 6 (I guess, I don't have it with me right now).
Odd that it doesn't work still, must be some compatibility thing. You could try clearing the data of the app and letting it first boot again. Is there an option in the app to submit feedback or get support?
