I'd vote for The Compleat Meadmaker: Home Production of Honey Wine From Your First Batch to Award-winning Fruit and Herb Variations by Ken Schramm as an alternate if you are interested in making your own mead.

The sale price on Amazon.com is not available on Amazon.ca and I already own and have enjoyed using Ken's book.

Time to get back to the scheduled quaffing...
