Example is this "I have a few ebooks from some magazine places like "Better home and garden - Ebooks based on cooking recipes or even organizing." What I want to do is start with the cooking based ebook magazines since I have more of them. I want to edit there information and re-title them in "Calibre" and then save them to my ebook folder on my (USB) Flash Drive. And then remove the list from "Calibre" that I have already done and saved to the flash drive. Is there a way to do this without actually removing the ebooks from the flash drive. I just find it a bit hard working on 10 ebooks when there is over a 100 or so in the list. I want to work on categories and then go from there. But the "Calibre" ebooks area is a mess.

Please help I have figured out how to rename things and how to even place my amazon ebooks into calibre but now I'm needing some help with this as well as making categories.
You can have as many Libraries as your disk system will hold. (only 10 will show on the quick switch list. but you can always Switch/Create:Use existing <path>

I (and a few others MR members) use an Intake Library where we touch things up (maybe, after Alf's help ), the move them off to their final home Library
Note Auto Add (folder) targets the current Library and should not be used in this scenario Kovid: Could that feature be made sensitive to a specific Library (* for any)?
Calibre will use (open on) the one that was showing when it closed.
