So they basically took the only Kindle without the extra plastic light layer and gave it one. I’m glad I have the last version of the Kindle Basic without the light layer. I never could get past the loss of clarity from the light layer nor the horrible blue light shadows. Too distracting for me and terrible on my eyes. I would have much preferred a 300dpi Basic without front light.
