I think being able to have multiple documents open is probably standard for PDF readers. PDF Expert can do that, too, and iirc, so does Adobe's free PDF reader.

Not so sure about being able to open different parts of the same document simultaneously. Curious what version of GoodReader was that added? I don't remember that being an option on earlier versions.

Lol, when I was studying for a licensing exam, I borrowed my brother's iPad and used two iPad 2s so I could view different books or different pages of the same book or really, just different content side by side. That was my split view. Worked with any app, too.
