ok, this will be my first post and I will try to make as comprehensive as possible. I was worried to death the time I was thinking about buying the Oasis 2 since my only kindle 4gen the battery was close 3 months. So I made a small table of usage which should give you an idea of battery usage. The Wifi was off and light was set to 9.

The device was brand new and I learned later it was building its index. You can notice the drop from one day to another. I can say the battery seems to last a bit longer today and I can charge it usually from 14 to 18 days depending on the usage and timing.
