this story has some gamelit elements but primarily it is a day in the life story about a boy taking his first steps to becoming a man in a magical world by trying to master the magic he finds himself capable of while attending a magical academy and thwarting infuriated nobles, giants, trolls, dragons and a host of other creatures.
