my original Aura 6" like yours as 4GB of bulit in storage without the external micro SD card slot i would be over the 8GB limit. currently the books on my Aura and the books on the external SD card is around 9GB and counting. mainly kepubs and some epubs no pdfs in total 3236 books not that many compared to some.

one thing at a time is precisely the problem. for me a Clara HD v2 with waterproofing being the only difference from the original Clara HD wouldn't be a good enough reason/upgrade on it's own for me to even consider buying it.

but of course each to their own.

i agree it would be nice to have a plastic substrate on a new Kobo 6" ereader.
