Right, that's what I was trying to point out in the earlier post (where "tmp" is the actual library). For last used to work, the library folder has to be at the same level as calibre-portable.exe.

Last used didn't work:
X:\libraries\tmp
X:\Calibre Portable\libraries\tmp

Last used worked:
X:\Calibre Portable\tmp
