IIRC you could exclude the Calibre Library folder in Documents from OneDrive synching; or you could pause Onedrive synching when you're using calibre; or you could move your library to a location....

Good spot. One drive is harmless only if you don't use Microsoft accounts. It cannot then auto sync as it has nowhere to sync to....
