And, then, take a look at all the free books available right here at MobileRead. You can pull down a copy of the
MobileRead Mobipocket Download Guide for your Kindle and then you can use the links in the Guide to download any of the MobileRead books directly to the Kindle. (Isn't that Whispernet feature just wonderful?)
I haven't tried to put any PDF files onto my Kindle -- yet -- but I think I'm going to have to spend some time learning how to do the conversions.
