Yes, I recall people have pointed out certain sales that didn't apply to Light members, but they do seem few and far between. The one year I had the plan, I didn't personally run in to that issue.

Catlady's action was what I planned to do when my own annual membership expires in a few days. Effectively, for $14 you get a credit plus five months of membership (two months + three months' suspension) while keeping your existing credits, which seems like a better value than $10 for Listener Light with its sketchy access to sales and promos and no credit. I figure I'd use up my credits by the end of the five months anyway.
