Does anyone have any comments? (I'm not put off by the "too technical" criticisms, but the rest of them are, well, scary.)

I liked his "In the beginning was the command line" and have snagged some of his books on sale, but haven't read any of them yet.
I enjoyed Seveneves as well as Stephenson's other work. I think most people are thrown off by the total shift of gears about 2/3 of the way through.

For $1.99 I think its a no-brainer. Oh and I just looked at the most helpful critical review by a "Don Tyler" and it was pretty spoilerish.
