Regarding H20, watch out what kind of SD card you put your books on if you use SD. It can be way slower than the internal storage.
It's fast enough for me, but indeed when I want to see a word definition sometimes it's tricky. Most of the time it registers my touch as a page turn. It happens if the device already detected inactivity/turn low power. There's a small time window since the last touch when the device is snappy, than it obviously goes to low power.
