Thank you David for responding so quickly to my query. I found the problem which turned out to be not nearly as complicated as I thought. Turns out the issue was with the source of the download. Due to the way the book pages were numbered, I thought I had downloaded the whole book. Nope. What I had on Calibre was what I got on the Kobo. I tried a new source and bingo, I got the whole book. I should have checked the download more carefully. Thanks again for offering the advice. I did try the bug check which I didn't even know existed. Cheers.
