I gave my wife a nice watch that had a mechanical self winder. Then when she got a new Fitbit Charge 3 for Christmas, I had to get her a rocking mechanism for the mechanical watch for when it wasn't being worn.
e.g. a Rolex 3135 caliber requires 650 turns a day or 27 an hour MINIMUM.
