Have you tried opening the book in calibre's editor and running an error check (the red bug icon)? You can also try an epub to epub conversion which will also help with some structural errors.

The Sigil editor can also do similar error checks.

If the book is not copyrighted, you can attach it to a message so other eyes can take a look at it. If it is copyrighted, use ScrambleEbook ( see ScrambleEbook: Getting help with copyrighted books ) in the calibre forum and then attach it.

EDIT: Make sure to have a backup copy of the ebook before editing.
