Additional cropping tools that can also be used for a two-page(double page) spread splitting :

There are probably some pdf editors with such duble-page layout cropping/splitting command(s) incorporated therein, but we can usually use any pdf editor with a basic crop function, by cropping the left and the right sides separately and then by merging those cropped pages together thereafter, like this;

There are probably ereader/tablet pdf apps that could be used instead e.g. I remember using koreader app on my kindleDX for double-page-PDF comics, but it is pretty easy and quick to use briss, pdfscissors etc. and probably easier on the readers processor or memory thereafter.

There were also quite a few online services too and some linux(Ubuntu) tools, but I have not checked them over
