For instance, what does it mean when my LED is solid blue and the screen won't turn on no matter what I do?

And what does it mean when the LED blinks blue-purple-blue-purple-blue-purple-pause-red-red-red-red-red and the screen won't turn on no matter what I do?

I feel it is trying to tell me something!
