I'm going to blow my remaining nominations in one fell swoop with nods to Compulsion and The Woman Warrior. The first I'd like to read in any case and the second I read so long ago that I have little memory of it; it would also help our stats with an author of color. I'll note that while we're not tracking it, Cather was gay.
