I am almost certain that I have eaten a cake in the United States that is made with coffee. I would suggest that you try a Starbucks store--I'm almost certain that they have a selection of desserts--maybe they have one or more with coffee as an ingredient.
It's not one of the country most common no, Portugal has a lot of sweets and deserts, I love to bake and sometimes I make it.


Sorry, never went to a starbucks, they are not comom here, and altough there is now one open in the mall in my city I haven't tried it and don't think I will, Portuguese people drink a lot of coffee but it is very diferent from the american coffee, so I'll stick with our traditional coffee shops, that also serve cakes and pastrys.
