Yes, the Aura 2 will support Overdrive. Kobo added it last year. You will need at least the 4.10.x firmware, but the device should update to the latest when you do the setup.
I'm not aware of any real reasons not to go with it. It will be closer to the Glo than the Aura ONE (size, resolution). The main criticism I can think of for the Aura 2 has been the price. At what Kobo asks, you are better to get the Clara HD. If you are getting a new device, the price you are paying is good.
