Eudamon... despite some of the extra bells and whistles it might not implement, how do you like the hardware and core features like music, email, IM, skype, etc?

And for RSS feeds you might be able to use an online RSS feed reader like http://mobilerss.net. I'd be interested to hear if that one or another works for you.

Also curious... does the browser work on WAP sites, or just HTML?
