Got the heat shields off, it wasn't easy and it ain't pretty, parts of the PCB have ripped off but amazingly the thing still boots on the serial console.

The eMMC was under the last heat shield I removed, typical. I removed them using cutters and mini pliers, there must be a better way....I tried a soldering iron but it was hopeless, maybe a heat gun might have worked.

The eMMC is labelled MCIMX508CVK8B N78A BTKX1249C SNGPR

This part looks like the chip model:
MCIMX508CVK8B

It's way smaller than I expected, will definitely be a challenge to remove and put back.

The eMMC is under the longest heat shield, directly above the power button. I'll post a photo once I get somewhere to host one sorted out.
