This pertains to a concept that I've thought about quite a bit over the last few years.

I have too much stuff now, and the house is full. I have begun to realize _that I don't really need it all_. Everything that I actually _use_ could fit within a typical "tiny house." I'm thinking quite seriously about going the tiny house route when I get older.

Won't I miss the stuff, though, if I get rid of it? Let me share an incident. Some friends of mine were moving from a bedroom community outside of Atlanta to New York City. They couldn't afford to live in a place there that was anywhere close to the size of the place that they had then. Stuff had to go; they had already disposed of lots of stuff. I asked the wife how she felt about it. She said, "it's liberating."
