{A little off topic, but in case useful}
I have been using Adobe Lightroom for image management and development but wanted to abandon it due to Adobe's move to subscription based use. So I had a play around with the current versions of the freebees; digiKam, RawTherapee and darktable. For me RawTherapee came out tops by far for developing RAW and is what I have started using. digiKam for image management I found to be very efficient and it imported my tags tree, etc. from Adobe so am using that.
If not tried already, RawTherapee might be worth checking out.
Regarding phones and cameras, Nokia have just released the N9 Pureview which looks interesting (conjures up memories of the old Nokia 808 Pureview)
