Hi Euditionastic,

I had the same issue, although I don't know if volume control was working.

I found I had to:
1. Turn off Kindle Lazy,
2. Plug in USB dongle,
3. Turn on Kindle Lazy.

Then it worked.

Anyway, I mainly came back to post to say thank you to everyone who wrote the software and who gives help on this forum. I finally got mine working just yesterday.

My recommendation to anyone else is to buy the exact same presenter as the original poster.
