I feel better about the Forma now ! Just one thing nobody addressed, the goosebump type rubber- I have a mouse like that, and after a couple months, it catches enough dead skin that it is impossible to wipe it off. You can use a toothbrush but after a few times the goosebumps turn flat and "worn".

No. However, I only used it coverless for a few days before the cover arrived.
